Forest Her is an exploration of the historical roles women have provided through scientific forest management. A panel discussion followed the screening with Cheryle Franceschi, Melody Starys Mobley, and Leah Nichols, and moderated by EJ Scott. Virginia Delegate Richard C. (Rip) Sullivan, Jr. provided the opening remarks.

46th Annual Meeting: We All Live Upstream

The 46th annual membership meeting of EcoAction Arlington was held at Washington-Liberty High School, celebrating protecting our waterways with a featured presentation, an overview of EcoAction Arlington programming for 2024, the election of our board of directors and exhibits from local organizations.
Discuss Climate Priorities with Arlington County Board Member

EcoAction Arlington’s Advocacy Committee and R4 Action Group held a virtual discussion on Climate Priorities with Arlington County Board Member Takis Karantonis. The online event began with a social with information on how to become a climate advocate with EcoAction Arlington. Followed by a discussion on climate priorities and advocacy opportunities with County Board Member Takis Karatonis.

In honor of a day on, not a day off, join us for our Annual cleanup on MLK Jr Day. We’ll celebrate the day with volunteers cleaning up trash and debris from Four Mile Run at either Barcroft Park or Jennie Dean Park. All ages are welcome, adults must accompany children.
