Arlington Food Assistance Center ‘“ Plot Against Hunger Program
The Plot Against Hunger program of the Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC) encourages local gardeners and farmers to grow and donate fresh produce for Arlington residents in need. Volunteers help the AFAC food pantry by gardening, harvesting crops at local farms and orchards, and picking up donations at local farmers markets. ‘œPlot’ helps educate the community on the nutritional, environmental and social benefits of gardening through demonstration gardens, presentations, and tasting demonstrations at AFAC distribution sites. Stop by their table to pick up free seeds and learn how to become involved. - Grosaic
