Topics include:
- Papermaking
Promotes reducing solid waste by making a sheet of paper out of reused paper scraps. 20 kids. - Three Rs
Teaches students about reducing, reusing and recycling to save natural resources. 35 kids. - Solar Ovens
Explores renewable energy and involves building a solar oven out of a pizza box. 20 kids. (available starting April 29, when there will be sufficient outdoor light) - Energy Carnival
Explore sources of energy and conservation tips for the home with fun carnival games. 50 kids. (available starting in late May on designated dates ONLY)
Sessions are available Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Each takes approximately 45 to 60 minutes. The number of students each program can accommodate is listed above. Once you select a date, we will contact you to work out the exact timing of your presentation, which should be scheduled between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m.
