Invasive Plant Removal and Park Cleanup

Long Branch Nature Center, 625 S. Carlin Spring Rd., Arlington EcoAction Arlington will be teaming up with Arlington County’s Remove Invasive Plant Program (RiP) to remove invasives from Long Branch Park, and clean up some trash while we are at it!

Interested in recycling? Join EcoAction Arlington for a social with a twist. EcoAction Arlington and the Arlington County Solid Waste Bureau are exploring ways to engage interested volunteers in supporting recycling at special events in 2015 and are kicking it off with a social. Please join us at the Clarendon Mardi Gras celebration to:
1) have fun and get to know like-minded volunteers;
2) observe a special event and its recycling; and
3) support a long-term initiative to improve recycling at special events.
