NVCT Presents: Conversationists of Color Read-A-Thon

Sunday, January 26 from 5-7 pm
Busboys and Poets Shirlington

Join the Northern Virginia Conservation Trust and EcoAction Arlington for an event uplifting the voices of conservationists of diverse backgrounds where you’ll get to read and listen to passages about those who have dedicated their lives to safeguarding nature. Join Arlington County Natural Resources to remove invasives, rescue native plants and restore habitats at various parks and locations throughout Arlington. Improve habitat, meet fellow do-gooders, get exercise, and learn about native plants and wildlife all while making a difference in the great outdoors!

Sierra Club Potomac River Group Mini-Grant Applications

The Sierra Club’s Potomac River Group is accepting proposals for new projects that promote environmental sustainability and climate health. They will award 1-2 mini-grants each year, up to $500 each.
