EcoAction Arlington is excited to collaborate with The Arlington Community Chorus (ACC) for their Chorus Spring Concert: “Earth Songs: Celebrating Our Beautiful World”
The Arlington Community Chorus (ACC) announces its spring concert, “Earth Songs: Celebrating Our Beautiful World,” to be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 7:30 p.m., in the Yorktown High School Auditorium. With a creative combination of songs and readings, the program will celebrate and honor our human connection to the natural world and our responsibility to care for our planet and each other.
Representatives from EcoAction will be on hand to share information about what
we can each do to be better stewards of our local Arlington environment, and how to engage
with EcoAction in our own neighborhoods.
Yorktown High School is located at 5200 Yorktown Blvd., Arlington, VA. The concert is free and
all ages are welcome. Audience members are invited to greet the chorus and enjoy refreshments immediately following the concert.
All levels of singers are welcome to join the Arlington Community Chorus, a non-audition
ensemble with a focus on diverse programming and community engagement. The chorus
rehearses on Tuesday evenings at Washington-Liberty High School, under the direction of
Cynthia Young and accompanied by Diane Carsten-Pelak. Registration is through Arlington
