Become an Energy Master!
Modeled after the successful master gardeners training program, the award-winning Energy Masters program trains corps of volunteers in energy efficiency and water conservation techniques and in community education and outreach. Once trained, volunteers contribute 40 hours of community service over the course of a year, at which point they become certified.
Our Impact
Since the program’s inception in 2011, we’ve trained more than 120 volunteers who have helped more than 480 families living in affordable housing buildings in Arlington to decrease their energy and water usage and improve the comfort of their homes.
This year, we are thrilled to expand our work into the City of Alexandria!
The Training Program
Six training sessions will be held on Wednesdays, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. between September 30th and November 4th.

- Energy Coach (community education and outreach)
