The problem is big. We’re small.’
There’s not much we can do, right?’
WRONG!
On Sunday, November 8, join EcoAction Arlington for a conversation about the many ways that Arlingtonians can tackle climate change, whether by reducing our carbon footprints at home or working toward action on a larger scale.
On the agenda:
- Get up to speed on climate change evidence, impacts, and solutions. Andrea McGimsey from the Climate Reality Project will come talk to us about what climate change means for our daily lives and how we can solve these challenges.
- Meet local groups and activists who are working toward climate solutions. Learn about these groups’ initiatives to cut greenhouse gas emissions, protect our natural environment, and make our community more resilient to climate change. Find out how you can get involved.
- Ask questions and join the conversation. Expect plenty of time for discussion and Q&A throughout the afternoon.
- Connect with neighbors and enjoy refreshments courtesy of Relay Foods.
